How every setup is graded

Each setup carries an A to D grade built from three things measured on past candles: edge, the average result per trade in R after a 0.12% round-trip fee; drawdown, the deepest drop in the pattern's equity curve; and reward versus dip, how far price usually runs in the pattern's direction compared with how far it moves against it first.

The backtest is causal, so a pattern only counts from the candle where it could actually have been seen. A grade describes how the pattern has behaved before. It does not predict the next one.
